Phanom Rung, Burirum, Thailand

Christmas of 2012 I got to visit the Phanom Rung ruins in Thailand.  Displaying Khmer architecture, this historical park resembles Angor Wat, which I did try to visit.  After trying to cross the Cambodian border without a visa, and realizing that you simply can’t cross borders without researching where you are going first, Phanom Rung was the next best place to go.  Its about one hour or so drive away from the city of Burirum (which boasts some of the best ‘dipping sauce’ I have ever tried anywhere).

Here are some pictures taken of the beautiful site!

  1. Another great post from another great place! Those are some cool ruins!
You think they could ship me some of the “best dipping sauce” that you mention?
